Well, the hunt is nearly over (today’s the last day), and I want to thank all the lovely bloggers who covered all or part of the hunt – thank you! Your support was greatly appreciated. (Please scroll below for the links.)

And a big thank you to the hunters who made this hunt as successful as it was, and – last but definitely not least – a huge THANK YOU to all the designers who offered such fantastic gifts! It was an honour and a pleasure to have you on board.

And I received a note that the hunt was featured on the Happy Hunting broadcast on treeet.tv, though I didn’t make it to the broadcast, partly because I saw the message too late, and partly because the time of the broadcast is just a little bit too late in the evening for me. Lavender Hill: hunt gift previews and hints

The Lavender Hill Hunt has officially started. You’re looking for this:

Unfortunately, quite a few stores from the original line up have dropped out from the hunt for a variety of reasons. On the bright side, it means that the hunt is quick to do!

So here’s the final line up, with a preview of the hunt gifts (in the order of the hunt, in as much as that means anything – in case you were wondering, this was arrived at by randomising the names in Excel 🙂 ).

if you’d like to be an official blogger for the Lavender Hill hunt, please fill in the form below.

Please note: you will be need to join the Monochrome Hunts group (I will send you an invite). Please do not apply if that’s a problem. The designers will send the hunt gifts to the group. Also please note that by applying, you commit to blog a minimum of 2 items from the hunt.

Applications for the third Monochrome Hunt (“Lavender Hill”) are now open!

(If you’re not familiar with the concept of monochrome hunts, it’s this: each hunt is based on a monochrome colour palette,and content designers create an item based on/ inspired by these colours.)

This third hunt is called “Lavender Hill” and will run from the 25th of February to the 10th of March.

It will feature about 25 stores, and the hunt objects will, again, be 5L$.

The application deadline is the 27th of January 2013.

As before, this is not a first come first serve hunt, because I want to try and build a nice mix of stores, so please do not worry if you do not hear anything back straight away.

Hunt guidelines

PG stuff only.
It probably goes without saying, but I’ll say it anyway: no resellers, Business In A Box (BIAB) and/or Freebies found in BIAB.
You will need to provide a promo picture for your gift item, this will be posted on the blog and distributed around bloggers to generate interest in the hunt.
Hunt item is not to be hidden inside another object.
No decoys!

The next Monochrome Hunt will run from Feb 25 to Mar 10 2013. Applications will open on Jan 14 (to Jan 27).
